So Pokemon Unite another game by Tencent is ruined due to pay to win attributes. So the lack of involvement of both Pokemon and Nintendo didn't come out the best, while the game is enjoyable and fun the fun gets killed when you lean the hard way about the harsh reality about it being pay to win, while it is tolerable till some extent but certainly  for the people who are free to play. Now lets talk about how is it pay to win, firstly lets talk about what you will be paying for to win and those are held items, now held items are small stat upgraders like the shell bell which  raises your special attack and the assault vest which raises your defense and many more. A pokemon can have up to 3 held items at  a time now here is where Tencent tried to fool  us, now while anyone can get items easily either through level up , missions, or from the shop since they are fairly cheap, but the thing comes to that you can upgrade your held items up to level 30 with item enhancers, you can get item enhancers easily as you progress but it is difficult now they can also be bought using Aeos tickets because the higher you upgrade an item so you would need to buy them with aeos tickets, but aeos tickets are not easy to come by since you need high level of dedication, but if you got money you are all set, now see you can buy aeos tickets with aeos gems which is the currency you can only buy and cannot gain through progression you would roughly have to spend 135$ to fully upgrade a set of held items. If you even try to ignore this fact and don't upgrade or use held items the ones that do use and upgrade them will just beat you every time.
